The express check was of no use as we had to leave items in storage which charged the same price for a suitcase or a purse which didn’t makes sense the two take up different amounts of space. Upon check out we waited with three small children to pay a $2.15 bill for over 45 minutes. Also we took a video of an insect fly flying around in the food counter and when questioned they told me the food was fake but to have a fly in a food area was still disgusting. This upscale hotel, which has 398 rooms, has a concierge that. On the second day our room was left unlocked and open after being serviced on day four of five the room was serviced at all ended up having to go to reception wait nearly 30 mins just to get towels, the bathroom has small insects and the flush didn’t work properly was not impressed at all And on top the charge an additional fee which was not clear at all ended up paying $225 extra ($45 per day) in which the only benefit that was available was a $15 coupon which compelled you to use it in their market place in which $1 water bottles were $ 5. A six-minute stroll down West 44th street will bring guests from the Sofitel New York right to Grand Central. Overall poor for such a worldwide name it was the first time I used the Hyatt brand.
